Donate to the Museum
GIA is seeking to tell the magical story of jewelry and gems through the ages. As the foremost authority in gemology, the Institute is committed to advancing the world’s understanding of gemstones in the human experience.

You can help the Institute tell that story and educate the public by gifting your museum-quality gems, jewelry or minerals to the GIA Collection. Doing so also ensures that a legacy of creativity and natural beauty will continue to inspire others for generations to come.

With your gift to the GIA Collection, you may:

  • See your name displayed at exhibit venues internationally.
  • Have your name permanently inscribed on the Institute’s Donor Wall of Honor at GIA’s world headquarters in Carlsbad, California
  • Become a member of the Circle of Honor recognizing the Institute’s most dedicated in-kind donors.
  • Become forever associated with GIA’s tradition of integrity, academics, science and professionalism.

For more information on how you can make a donation to the GIA Collection or any other area of the Institute, contact Kimberly Vagner, project manager, In-Kind Gifts, at 760-603-4150, e-mail: kimberly.vagner@gia.edu; or Elise Misiorowski, director, GIA Museum, at 760-603-4073,
e-mail: emisioro@gia.edu

To schedule an individual or group tour of the museum, please e-mail guestservicesmailbox@gia.edu  or call 800-421-7250, ext. 4116 or 760-603-4116.
